Student Engineer, Mollie Jameson, is headed to the Big Apple to complete her work term for Fisher Price.
When she applied to Fisher Price, Mollie decided that submitting her résumé was not enough. She took a proactive approach and ended up speaking with Fisher Price’s Chief Engineer. Two days later she had an interview through Skype and is now the first student engineer to work with the company.
Mollie Jameson has always wanted to be an engineer — to be able to design toys is a dream come true.
She offers sound advice to job seekers:
“If there’s a job you want to get, anywhere in the world, any company, it’s possible to get there. So think outside the box and take a proactive approach.”
