Adapting to change is not only a survival skill but a skill that will help you succeed in life.
Whatever the challenge (perhaps you have been recently let go from a position or you have been separated from a loved one) there are skills that you can use to help you cope with new and evolving conditions.
Being Grateful for the positive aspects of your life can help draw attention away from fears and negative thoughts and feelings.
Be Proactive. Look for and act on opportunities that will help to make your situation better.
Trust Your Ability to Bounce Back. Reflect on challenging times in your life – what did you do to overcome difficulties?
Don’t Obsess About the Future. Try to focus on the present moment and the actions required to make the best of your circumstances.
De-Stress. Meditate, exercise or do something for someone else to help ease your stress.
