Tourism on the Rise

The tourism sector accounts for almost one-tenth of all jobs in Canada.

According to Statistics Canada, tourism accounted for about 1.8 million jobs in Canada in 2015, up 2.6% from 2014.

Did you know that younger workers hold 1/3 of employee jobs in tourism and 1/4 of tourism sector jobs are held by immigrant workers?

A career in tourism, a sector that has a shorter average work week than the rest of the economy, may be worth considering. Learn more.
