Through the Ministry of Advanced Education & Skills Development (MAESD) a new program effective January 1st, 2018 will assist employers who hire a youth (15–29) to work on average 20 hours a week.

The program will be available through the Durham Region Unemployed Help Centre and other Employment Ontario (E.O.) service providers.

Employers that hire youth between January 1st and March 31st using E.O. services can receive a $1,000 retention incentive at 3-months and an additional $1,000 at 6-months.

Call or email our office to learn how you can access these funds.
