An Ipsos online poll asked 1,203 young Canadians (aged 12-18) about their summer work in 2018. The results reveal that the status of gender inequality in the workplace starts early.
Published in a Girl Guides report: “Girls on the job: Realities in Canada”, the results indicate that girls and boys are equally as likely to have summer work but that on average, young females earn 30% less than males. Read more.
