Negotiating a salary can be an intimidating process for job seekers – even more so for a new graduate with little experience.

According to research from U.S. financial firm, NerdWallet, 74% of employers indicate that they are able to increase their offer by 5-10% during the initial hiring stage but only 38% of new graduates are engaging in negotiations.

It doesn’t have to be all about salary either. You may consider negotiating for a more flexible work schedule or health benefits.
